Verona -- Mrs. Betty Southerland Bailey, 82, died Wednesday. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Jones Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Kinston. Survivors include a brother James Southerland of Kinston.
