Obituary of Bettie Lockamy Carter ~ 1962

Wallace -- Mrs. Betty Lockamy Carter, wife of the Rev. A. H. Carter, died 
Tuesday morning. She was 64.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Zoar Free Will Baptist 
Church near Salemburg. Dr. Howard Carter and the Rev. J. E. Andrews will 
officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Dennis E. Wells of Rocky 
Point, Mrs. Roy M. Keen of Willard, Mrs. David Crawford of Sharpsburg; 
seven sons, Paul Carter of Washington, D. C. , William David Carter of 
Willard, Harry Carter of Providence, R. I., Oddell Carter of the U. S. 
Army, James Carter of Wallace, J. D. Carter of San Diego, Calif., the 
Rev. Herbert Carter of Dunn; two sisters, Mrs. Marvin Thomas and Mrs. 
Purdie Hill of Salemburg; a brother, Floyd Lockamy of Salemburg.
