Obituary of Rev Arby Herring Carter ~ 1967

Raleigh -- Reverend A. H. Carter, 82, died at his home in Raleigh Sunday
night.
He was a Pentecostal Free Will Baptist minister for 54 years.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Zoar Pentecostal Free
Will Baptist Church by the Reverend W. H. Johnson, Dr. Howard Carter,
Reverend A. C. Wheeler and Reverend David Conert.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Wells of Clinton, Mrs.
Lois Keene of Willard, Mrs. Evelyn Crawford of Roanoke Rapids; six sons,
Paul W. Carter of Militas, Calif., David Carter of Willard, Harry Carter
of Hialeah, Florida, James Carter of Wallace, the Reverend Herbert Carter
of Dunn, J. D. Carter of San Francisco, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Lonnie
Humphrey of Kinston, Mrs. Lyde Mohns of Richlands, Mrs. Leona Miller of
Wilmington; two brothers, Jasper Carter of Greensboro, Arthur Carter of
Richlands; 22 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
