Obituary of Annie D Cavenaugh Brinson Horvath ~ 1985

Burgaw - Mrs. Annie Cavenaugh Brinson Horvath, 77, of Rt. 2, Burgaw, died 
Sunday afternoon in Pender Memorial Hospital, Burgaw, after a lengthy 
illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Edgerton Funeral 
Chapel in Beulaville, conducted by Rev. Garland Foushee. 
Burial will follow in the Thigpen Cemetery near Beulaville.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Bill Horvath; one daughter, Mrs. Bill 
(Betty Jo) Livengood; one step-daughter, Mrs. Billie Mae Miller of 
Wilmington; one sister, Mrs. Dolly Garrison of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; 
seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A native of Pender County, Mrs. Horvath was the daughter of the late Lum 
and Ercie Brinkley Cavenaugh. She had made her home in Pender County for 
the past several years and was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Casketbearers will be Danny Lee Livengood, Charles Livengood, James Troy 
Livengood, Hobart Brinson, Stanley Bratcher and Eddie Paul Thigpen.
The family will receive at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 
will be at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Betty Jo Livengood, 3735 
South College Road, Wilmington, other times.
