Saying the Right Thing

Sometimes we avoid saying anything because we are afraid we will 
say the wrong thing. Here are some ideas that will most always 
be 'right':

1.You are in my thoughts and prayers.
2.I love you.
3.My heart hurts for you.
4.I can't imagine how you must be feeling.
5.This must be so hard for you.
6.I would like to help out. Would it be OK for me to bring a meal over?

And some that can be downright offensive:

1.God knows best.
2.You can have another child.
3.You know he(or she) is in a better place.

Do not stand at my grave and weep; 
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
