Duplin Deed Book 21, page 154 18 Aug 1852 Deed James D. Wilson to
Isham Shuffield mentions 7 ½ acres on Parsons Branch. Wit: H. Hollingsworth,
Willis Wilson.
Sampson Deed Book 32, page 514 - 14 Feb 1854, James Wilson of Sampson
County to his son James D. Wilson, county of Duplin, land in Sampson on east
side of Miry Branch adjoining the lands of Alexander Wilson, Wm K. Chestnut &
others, 52 1/2 acres - and negroes (illegible).
Sampson Deed Book 32, page 269 - 16 Feb 1856, James Wilson, Sampson County,
to son, Alexander Wilson, Sampson County, land south side of Stewart's creek and
Miry Branch adjoining lands of W. K. Chestnutt, forty two acres, negro Everette,
aged about seventeen.
Sampson Deed Book 34, page 216 16 Jun 1856 James D. Wilson, Sr., county
of Duplin to James D. Wilson, Jr. county of Sampson, for three hundred and eighty
seven dollars land sold land south side of Stewarts creek adjoining Wm K.
Chestnutt, James Watson and others, run of Mire branch, 52 ½ acres.
