William Williams To Starky Williams
State of North Carolina
Deed for negro hannah
Know all men by these presents that I William Williams of the State aforesaid and County
of Duplin have this day by these presents given unto Starky Williams of the same place a
negro girl named Hannah about ten years old also one fether bed & furniture for the slave
good will & natural affection I have & do bear to him as my son for which consideration I
the said William Williams do have by for myself my executors and administrators for ever
warrant and defend unto him the said Starky Williams his heirs and assigns the lawful right
of the above named property Don at Duplin November 6th 1837
