(Transcribed by Diane Siniard) Deed Book E Page 428, & 429 William Taylor To Benjamin Sasser Deed 100 acres North Carolina Duplin County To all to whom these presents shall Come William Taylor of the province aforesaid Sendeth Greeting. Know that the said William Taylor for and in Consideration of the sum of fifteen pounds Prock money in hand paid by Benjamin Sasser before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof I do hereby Confess that I am therewith fully satisfied contented and paid I have given Granted Bargained and sold assigned conveyed, and forever set over unto Benjamin Sasser his heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever a certain Tract or parcel of Land lying and being in Duplin County on the No. East Branch of Cape fair River on both sides of munses Branch and Beginning at a white oak in Salmons line running No. 75 Wt. 127 poles to a pine thence No. 15 Et. 127 pole to a Black Jack the ee So. 75 Et. 127 pole to a pine then to the first station containing acres of Land be the same more or less to have and to hold the said bargained premises together with all Houses fields orchards Guardens and every other property thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to the Land and farther more the said Benjamin Sasser shall and may from this time Enjoy and possess the same shair Cleard free from all former Gifts grants Sales Rents or arrear ages of Rents only from Date hereof Farther more the said William Taylor do for himself Covenant and agree with the said Sasser that will warrant and forever Defend the said Land from me my heirs Executors administrators and assigns from the Claim or Claims of any person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of September 1791.
