William Moore To Joseph Smith
Bill of sale 1 negro
Know all men by these presents that I William Morre hath bargained sold and
delivered unto Joseph Smith of the County aforesaid, one negro woman named Silvy about
twenty two years of age, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred & fifty
pounds specie to me in hand paid before the sealing & delivering of these presents,
and I the said Moor do warrant the said negro Silvey to be a sound healthy negro clear
of all impediments & I the said More doe warrant & defent the said negro Silvey against
the just claims or clamints, to Joseph Smith & his heirs forever, given under my hand &
seal this 19th day of June 1787.

Then was the within Bill of sale proved in open Court by the oath of Isaak Hunter & ordered
