No. 1312

Granted to William McCanne eighty acres of land in Duplin County on the West side of the 
North East River alittle above the Mouth of Mill run including the place that was Settled 
by Robert Wright.  Begining at a red oak hickory nad Haw tree on the river bank, Frederick 
Wells's corner on Haw bluf.  Thence Wells's line No. 25, Wt. 80 poles to a pine.  Thence 
George Powells line South 70, Wt. 120 poles to a bay tree in a pocoson.  The said Powels 
corner.  Thence said McCains line So. 20, Et. 220 poles to a black Jack.  Thence No. 58, 
Et. 30 poles to a pine on the river bank.  Thence Various courses of the River as it Meanders 
to the Begining.
