Granted to William Collins Three Hundred acres of Land in Duplin County S. side of  Muddy 
creek, and South side of jumping run a branch of Staffords Swamp—Begining at a Cypress 
on the run of Jumping run. Thence South 160 pole to a pine-Thence S. 70° E. 300 poles to 
a pine to a lightwood tree-Then N. 20° E. 136 poles to a gum on the run of said branch-
Thence down said run as it meanders to the beginning-

Dated the 16th day of November in the 15th year of our independence and in the year of our 
Lord 1790.
