William Hall Senr.  one hundred acres of land in Duplin County West side of the North 
East River and South side of Island Creek.  Begining at a pine Daniel Cooks corner.  
Thence So. 75 Wt. 60 poles to a stake on Samuel Evans's line.  Thence No. 88 Wt. 
24 poles to a large post oak Evans's corner.  Thence with Evans's other line So. 46 
poles to a pine.  Thence Wt. 57 poles to a pine.  Thence No. 221 poles to a pine Wells's 
and James Kenans corner.  Thence with Kenans line East 20 poles to a pine his corner.  
Thence the same course continued Et. 78 pole to a gum in John Cooks line.  Thence 
with Cooks line South 50 Wt. 26 poles to a pine his corner.  Thence with Cooks other 
line So. 64 poles to two small pines his corner.  Thence Et. 14 poles to a stake on 
Daniel Cooks line.  Thence with his line to the begining.
