William Duff three hundred and sixty acres of land in Duplin County on the East side of Fussles
Creek of Rockfish including Ben Fussles old Field. Begining at a poplar in the swamp thence
along an old line So. 77 East 170 poles to a pine thence crossing the road No. 30 East by
James Phebus's line 164 pole to a pine thence crossing the branch So. 60 Et. 60 pole to a white
oak thence No. 30 East 140 poles to a Hicory thence crossing the Branch No. 60 West 160
poles to a pine. Thence So. 70 west 100 poles to a Black Jack Elijah Bowens corner thence
with his line So. 80 west 76 poles to a pine and red oak his corner thence with Fussells line So.
10 Et. 40 poles to a stake thence with the swamp as it meanders to the first.
