Thomas Carlton three hundred acres of land in Duplin County East side of
Stewarts Creek and No. Side of Millers Swamp. Begining at a small red
oak his own corner of one hundred acred patened by Charles Acklin. So.
Edge of a small branch and east side of Murrows branch. Thence So. 12
Wt. 32 pole to a pine the second corner of his 150 acre survey patened by
Thomas Johnston. Thence as that line Wt. 155 poles to a pine. Thence as
his other line So. 155 poles to an ashe 40 yards north of the run of Millers
Swamp on the edge of the Boiling Spring run. Thence with Abraham beesleys
line down the swamp West 77 pole to a sweet gum on the line of land called
Reeses land. Thence as that line North 96 poles to a pine the corner of said
land. Thence No. 30 Et. 440poles to a lightwood tree. Thence So. 60 Et. 180
poles to a small pine. Thence So. ?? Wt. 86 poles to a stake on his own line
nine poles from the corner North of a small branch thence as his own line No.
50 Wt. 118 poles to a black jack. Thence as his other line So. 40 West 127
poles to a pine. Thence as his other line So. 50 East 127 poles to the begining.
