Thomas Cummins one hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin County on the Et. side of
the No. East river lying opposite to Aaeon Hodgeson and William McCanns plantations on
the Wt. side of said river. Begining at a cypress and maple on the river bank in the same
and near a black jack (cut down) Ivey Smiths corner formerly Thomas Cummins's. Thence
as Smiths line No. 61 1/2 Et. 64 poles to a dead pine and stake the corner. Thence No.
22 Et. 74 poles to a gum and water oak on the river bank at the mouth of a small branch
about 3 poles above a large spring. Thence down the various coursed of the river to the
begining.
