Granted to Thomas Routledge a tract of land containing Eleven hundred and three acres lying
and being in our Middle District on the South side of Duck River, between the mouth of Ceader
creek and Fountains Creek. Begining on the River Bank at two Spanish oaks, James Gallaways
corner by the upper side of a small branch. Thence down the meanders of Duck river to an
oak & box elder Marked ID. Then South three hundred and twenty two poles to a stake. Then
East three hundred and forty eight poles to a stake in Gallaways line. Thence North his line
four hundred & thirty poles to the begining.
