	Granted to Thomas Hooks six acres of land in Duplin County. South side 
of  Goshen-and on both sides of Kings branch-Begining at a pine on his own line by 
the main road and runs thence along the road S. 46°. E. 32 poles to a pine on 
James Winders’s line-Thence with his line crossing Kings branch S. 40°. W. 65 
pole to a Dogwood Tree his corner Thence to the beginning-
Dated the 28th day of August in the 20th year of our independence –and in the year 
of our Lord 1795
