Granted to Stephen Halso ninety five acres of land in Duplin County on both sides of Halso's
swamp including his improvements & joining at a poste the 2nd corner of a survey of 400 acres
Patened Henry Rhodes. Thence So. 52 East with Benjamin Laniers line 56 poles to a pine.
Thence Laniers line North 60 East 68 poles to a pine. Thence Laniers line North 79 East 76
poles to a pine. Thence Lanier Line No. 85 East 36 poles to a pine East side a small branch
an old corner. Thence North 60 Wt. 26 poles to a small maple in a branch said Halso's corner
of a survey of 46 acres. Thence his own line of the 46 acre survey North 45 Wt. 140 poles to
a stake. Thence the line of an old survey of 400 acres Patened by Henry Rhodes So. 38 Wt. 176
poles to the begining.
