Solomon Carter To Ezekiel Carter & Larance Thompson
Deed 200 acres
This Indenture made this twenty Eight day of January In the year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and Ninety. Between Soloman Carter if the State and County aforesaid Planter
on the one part and Ezekiel Carter & Larance Thompson both minors of the other part.
Witnesseth that the aforesaid Solomon Carter doth for and in the consideration of the sum of
Ten pounds to me in Hand paid By Elizabeth Tompson but more especially for Love and friend
ship Doth hereby assign and set over whereof he doth forever acquit and discharge the afore
said Ezekiel Carter and Larance Thompson & each of their heirs Exers. Admrs. and assigns
Hath Given Grantd and absolutely set over and confirm unto them the aforesaid Esekel Carter
& Larance Thompson their heirs and assigns forever a certain Tract or parcel of Land being
and lying in the State and County aforesaid. Begining at a stake the centre of Two pine
saplins Nearly against David Carters house and runs South Eighty four poles to Two ded
pines thence East 262 poles to a black jack thence North 162 poles to a lightwood stake and
from thence a direct line to the begining containing two hundred acres be the same more or
less Patent by said Carter bearing Date one Thousand seven hundred and Eighty two to Have
and to Hold the aforesaid Tract or parcel of Land as above described unto the said Ezekiel
Carter & Larance Tompson their heris and assigns free of all former gifts or grants of any
kind what ever with its all its benefits and Profits thereunto belonging Either in Law or
Equity unto the aforesaid Ezekel Carter Larance Tompson their heirs and assigns forever to
their own proper use benefit and behoofe forever to their own proper use benefit and behoofe
forever and I the said Solomon Carter for myself and my heirs and assigns forever unto the
aforesaid Ezekiel Carter & Larance Tompson Forever In witness whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed my seal the day and year first above written and mentioned.
