Shadrack Stallings To James Midleton

State of No. Carolina Duplin County

	Know all men by these presents that I Shadrack Stallings of the State and County 
aforesaid Hath Bargained sold and Delivered unto James Midleton of the same state and County 
a certain negroe woman and Child named Dolly and Bray for and In Consideration of the sum of 
one Hundred and forty five pounds current money of the state of No. Carolina to me in Hand 
paid.  And I the said Shadrack Stallings Do hereby warrant and Defend the said negroe to him 
the said James Midleton his heirs and assigns from the Lawful claim of any person or persons 
whatever witness my hand this 12th Day of March 1791

Then was the within Bill of sale acknowledged in open Court and ordered to be Registered.
