Sarah Moody To Mary Moody

Bill of Sale for 2 hefers

	This indenture made this 8 day of January in the year of our Lord 1839 Between 
Sarah Moody and Mary Moody both of the County of Duplin and State of North Carolina 
witnesseth that I the said Sarah Moody for and in consideration of the sum of fifteen 
dollars to me in hand paid by her the said Mary Moody at and before th Enfearing and 
delivering of thse presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge and my slef here 
with to be fully satisfide contented and paid have bargained and by these presents doth 
absolutely given granted bargain and sell alien convey and confirm assigns and set over 
unto her the said Mary Moody her heirs and assigns forever two heffers to the same 
belonging to her the said Mary Moody her heirs executors administrators and assigns 
forever and further I the said Sarah Moody doth furth by these presents covenant grant 
& agree to & with the said Mary Moody Hir heirs Executors Administrators and assigns to 
warrant & forever defent the said Heiffers from my self my Heirs Extrs Administrators 
and assigns to her the said Mary Moody her hires Extrs Adms and assigns forever from & 
against the Lawfull claim or claims of all other manner of person or Persons whatever 
so witness whereof I the said Sarah Moody have here unto set my hand & affixed my seal 
this day & date first above written.

Court of please and Quarter Sessions July Term 1839.

The Execution of the within Bill of sale is duly proved in open court by the oath of 
Cornelius Harper & is ordered to be registered.
