Granted to Samuel Sanderlin, junr. two hundred and sixteen acres of land in Duplin County
Et. side of the North East river and between Limestone & Muddy creek joining and between
the lines of Davis Robert Southerland, Samuel Sanderlin, Senr. John McGee, Johns & Shackleford.
Begining at a pine Davises & Robert Southerlands corner near the edge of a pond. Thence
Davis's line South 48 Wt. 154 poles to a pine. Thence So. 10 Et. 23 poles to a pine.
Thence Sanderlins line South 80 poles to a lightwood stump his corner. Thence South 77 Et.
22 poles to a pine another of said Sanderlins corner. Thence South 13 Wt. 72 poles to a
red oak near Nicholas Sanderlins field. Thence South 83 Et. 52 poles to a pine. John Mcgees
corner. Thence his line South 60 Et. 142poles to a pine on Johns's line near a small pond.
Thence North 13 Et. 108 poles to a pine Shacelefords corner. Thence his line No. 77 Wt. 150
poles to a stump and small black jack. Thence another of Shacklefords lines No. 13 Et. 210
poles to a small black jack his & Southerlands corner. Thence to the begining.
