Samuel Sowell thirty six acres of land in Duplin County on the 
Et. side of the No. East River and on the So. side of the Great 
branch joining Samuel Albersons line & his own.  Begining at a 
maple on the run of the Great branch on Albersons line & runs 
with his line So. 22 Et. 20 poles to a white oak.  Thence So. 62 
Et. 60 pole to a stake, thence So. 199 poles to a black jack on 
Mary Leighs line, Thence with her line No. 73 Et. 12 pole to a 
pine on his own line.  Thence with his line No. 246 poles to a 
cypress on the run of the Great branch.  Thence down to the 
begining.
