Granted to Sampson Grimes Twenty Acres of Land in Duplin County On 
the North side of Goshen Swamp, on the drans of Absaloms branch 
Begining at a White Oak bush on John Sulivints line, Thence his Thence 
his line S.32.E.80. pole to a Maple & bay in Hecklbarry branch. Thence 
up the branch S.60.W.20. pole to the fork thereof Thence up the South 
prong S.40.W.16. pole to a Maple on John Housmans line. Thence his 
line W.26. pole to a pine his corner Thence his line to the Begining -
Dated the 18th day of December in the 19th year of our independence 
and in the year of our Lord 1794,
