Robert Dickson two hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the East side of the
North East branch of Cape Fear River. Begining at a water oak and pine on the river
bank Lincoln Sheffields corner. Thence along his line North 75 Et. 236 poles to a pine
his corner. Thence along a line of Frederick Greggs North 48 Wt. 300 poles to a water
oak on the river bank alittle below the Butchers Bluff. Thence down the river as it
meanders to the first station.

Robert Dickson two hunded and twenty acres of land in Duplin County on the North
side of Maxwells swamp between Thalleys and Shuffields lands. Begining at a gum
and water oak on the side of the Creek by a bluff opposite to a large forked white oak
a station tree in Thalleys line. Thence along Thalleys line No. 45 Wt. 96 poles to a pine.
Thence North 42 Et. 200 poles to a pine on George Powells line. Thence as the same
Wt. 40 poles to a red oak his corner. Thence as his other line No. 40 poles to a pine.
Thence along his own line patened by Gillispie & Burtons Wt. 290 pols to a red oak
in the edge of the pond branch. Thence down the branch with John Holdons line South
10 Wt. 23 pole to a red oak. Thence down the branch with Robert Slones line Patened
by Ison Sheffield (continued on page 184) South 90 poles to a water oak. Thence alon
Hannah Murries line North 40 Et. 140 poles to a pine - as her other line South 50 Et. 155
poles to a red oak. Thence as her other line South 4 Wt. 195 poles to a gum on the Creek
and down the same as it meanders to the begining.
