(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book B Page 136 No. 469 Robert Dickson one hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the West side of the No. Et. River and joining on the South side of Persimmon swamp. Begining at a black gum on Persimmon Swamp near and runs along Garrisons line So. 45 Wt. 48 pole to a pine his corner thence the same course in a W. 80 pole to a red oak in a meadow. Thence So. 45 Et. one hundred and forty pole to a black jack thence No. 45 East seventy pole to a white oak and pine by a glade thence down the Glade No. 65 E. 80 poles to a black gum and a bay tree on the run of Persimmon Swamp thence up the meanders thereof to the begining. Dated the twenty ninth October 1782 ________________________________________ Deed Book B Page 136 No. 1117 Robert Dickson two hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin County on the West side of the No. East and north side of Island Creek. Begining at an oak his own corner and runs with his line East two hundred poles to a pine his other corner thence as said line South 40 poles to a water oak in a small branch near Loves Island. Thence No. 67 East 40 poles to a pine on the side of a small branch. Thence No. 5 Wt. 180 poles to a pine and lightwood stump on a ridge near the rolling road thence West 40 poles to a pine thence So. 28 Wt. 112 poles to pine in a meadow thence about So. 50 West 300 poles to a stake and small gum being a corner of his Grassy Island survey thence East one hundred and sixty poles to a stake the begining said Grassy Island survey thence to the begining. Dated the 11th day of July 1788 _________________________________________ Deed Book B Page 137 No. 1116 Robert Dickson two hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin County on the West side of the North East and North side of Island Creek. Begining on his own line about 72 poles from his corner of an old survey of 250 acres and runing from thence West to a stake 160 poles thence So. 20 Et. 280 poles to a stake on Wimbert Boneys line in Loves Pocoson opposite to the mouth open branch. Thence Et. 90 poles to a stake on near Boneys line in said Pocoson thence North 140 poles to a stake on his own line thence West 25 poles to said Dicksons old corner thence along his old line to the begining. Dated the 11th day of July 1788
