Richard Williams To Sarah Francis

Bill of Sale

State of No. Carolina Duplin County 

Know all men by these presents that I Richard Williams planter of the aforesaid County and 
State have Bargained sold unto Sarah Francis of the aforesaid County and State one negroe 
whench named Moll and one negroe Child named Ben three years old Last June and the negroe 
that she said Moll is Big with also one horse five years old Last spring marked thus A upon 
the riseing Buttock and marked upon the risein shoulder formerly my Riding horse and went 
by the name or freeman for two Hundred pounds specie tome in hand paid before the Delivering 
of the said negroes and said horse free and clear from me my heirs Executors administrators 
to her or heirs Executors or administrators forever as her proper Right free and clear from 
all person or persons that shall come or haveing any Lawfull Claim given under my hand and 
seal this 15th Day of January and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven Hundred and 
ninety one.
