RICHARD SESSUMS TO CULMER SESSUMS, 1774
This indentured made the ninth day of October in the year of our Lord God
One thousand seven hundred an seven four 1774 between RICHARD SESSUMS of
Duplin County in North Carolina of the one part and CULMER SESSUMS of the
Same county and Provence aforesaid of the other part. Henceforth that the
Said RICHARD SESSUMS for and in consideration of the sum of five pounds
Proclamation money to him in hand already paid an satisfied hath given
Granted bargained sold an confirmed an by these present doth absolutely
Give grant bargain sell and alien enfeffer hath given granted bargain sold
An confirm unto the said CULMER SESSUMS his heirs and assigns forever
One certain tract or parcel of land containing One hundred acres of land
And being on the Great Swamp beginning at a White Oak on the said swamp on
The lower side of Edge Branch North 70 East 180 poles to apine then along
The Pattent line to a ____ ____ Edge line then down the said branch to
The Great Swamp thence down the said swamp to the first station With all
And singular rights hereditaments appertainanced and dependants whatsoever
To the said land in any way thereunto belonging to have and to hold the
Said tract of land with all euline and dependants unto the said CULMER
SESSOMS his heirs an assigns forever in as full bless perfect and ample
Manner to all intents an purposes as he the said RICHARD SESSUMS ever did
Might or could have held the same before the making thereof cleared and
Freed from all widows dower jointure as thirds and all manner of such
Incumberances whatsoever and this deed the said RICHARD SESSUMS himself
Binds and obliges himself his heirs executors administrators an assigns

CULMER SESSUMS his heirs an assigns forever against him his heirs an
