Richard Hart Senr. To Richard Hart Junr.
Deed 300 acres
To all people to whom these presents shall come that I Richard Hart Senr. of the
State of North Carolina and County of Wayne do send greeting, Know ye that I the said Richard
Hart Senior for and In Consideration of the Love and good will and affection which I Have
and Do bear toward my Loving Son Richard Heart Junior of the County of Duplin and State
aforesaid Planter have and granted and by these presents Do freely give and grant unto the
said Richard Heart his Heirs Executors administrators or assigns one Tract of Land containing
Three Hundred acres lying and being In the County of Duplin and state aforesaid on both sides
of Mathews Branch begining at a Maple in Reedy Branch thence along James Williams line No. 88
Et. 184 poles to a pine his corner thence cross Mathews Branch So. 35 Et. 130 poles to a
Blackjack by a pond thence So. 70 Wt. 64 poles to a Blackjack by Joneses corner thence So.
45 Wt. 240 poles to a pine on the side of Azariahs branch thence as said Branch meanders to
Reedy Branch and thence as Reedy branch meanders to the begining the said Land Patened by
William Thompsons Patent bearing Date 11th Day of July 1788. In the 13th year of our
Independence the said Richard Heart Junior he his Heirs Exrs. administrators or assigns to
have and to hold the gifted Lands and Premises to their only proper use benefit and behoofe
and I the said RIchard Heart Senior Do Disanull all other gifts or grants or bargains of any
kind whatsoever but that the said Richard Junior may be the Rightfull owned of the same without
any Interruption of my or any person or persons whatsoever but that you may Enjoy the same to
you own proper use and Disposal as a free gift without any other manner of condition In Witness
whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal this sixth Day of November 1789
