(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book E Page 99, 100, & 101 Reuben Weston To Thomas Bradley Deed 100 acres This Indenture made this Eleventh day of February, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eight five. Between Reubin Weston of the County of Duplin & State of No. Carolina of the one part and Thomas Bradley of the County and State aforesaid. Witnesseth that the said Reubin Weston for & in consideration of the sum of Twenty pounds specie to him in hand paid before the Sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge. Hath given granted Bargained and sold and by these presents doth give grant Bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said Thomas Bradley his heirs and assigns for ever a certain tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County of Duplin on the no. side of Goshen swamp and on the East side of Bear marsh Branch, Begining at a white oak on said Branch and runing up said Branch to a pine a corner of the patent, thence along the giving line of the Patent to a white oak in said line thence along a line of marked trees to a pine in Henry Holleys line, thence along Holleys line to the first station, containing one Hundred acres by Computation be the same more or less, being part of a large tract Granted to the said Rubin Weston patent Bearing date 29th of February one thousand seven Hundred and seventy five and now Transferred by him to the said Thomas Bradly and by this deed doth appear, to have and to hold the above Bargained premises with all the appurtainances and previledges to the same belonging to him the said Thomas Bradly his heirs and assigns forever to his and their proper use Benefit and behoofe forever and the said Thomas Bradly his heirs Executors administrators and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times hereafter by free virtue of these presents Lawfully peaceably and quietly have hold occupy & enjoy the above Bargained premises with all the appertainances to the same belonging freely and clearly aquit him all manner of gifts grants bargains sales leases wills mortgages or Intails or any other incumberance whatsoever and I the said Ruben Weston my heirs and assigns do warrant and Defend the above bargained premises to him the said Thomas Bradly his heirs and assigns Forever from the lawful claim or claims of all manner of persons whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this day and date above written.
