(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book E Page 241, & 242 Peter Young To William Jones Deed 100 acres This Indenture made the ninth Day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven Hundred and ninety one Between Peter Young of the State of No. Carolina and County of Duplin of the one part and William Jones of the State aforesaid and County of New Hanover of the other part Witnesseth that for and In consideration of the sum of one Hundred pounds in hand paid by the said William Jones to the said Peter Yound before the sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath granted bargained sold aliened Enfeofed Conveyed and confirmed and by these presents Doth grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said WIlliam Jones his heirs and assigns forever all that Tract of Land Lying in the County of Duplin and state afroesaid on the North of Rockfish Creek Begining at a Persimmon tree on the bank of Rockfish Creek thence Runing on or near Pitmans old line No. 264 poles to the centree of three pines thence No. 32 Wt. 112 poles to the Bank of Rockfish creek thence with the creek as it meanders to the first station containing in on Hundred acres with the appurtainances situated lying and being as aforesaid with their and Every of their Right Members and appurtainances whatsoever and the Revertion and Reventions Remainder and Remainders of all and Singular the said Lands and Tenements Heridittaments and PRemises hereby Granted and Intended to be granted and Every part and parcel thereof and all Rents and Issues services and profits to them or any of them or any part or parcel of them or any of them incident belonging or appurtaining and also all and Every the Estate Rights and Titles Claims Interest and Demand whatsoever of him the said Peter Young unto or out of the said Lands Tenements Heridittaments and Premises whatsoever hereby granted or mentioned to be granted or any of them or any part or parcel thereof To have and to Hold the said Lands and Tenements Heridittaments and premises hereby granted with their appurtainances to the said William Jones his Heirs and assigns to the only Proper use and behoofe of the said William Jones his Heirs and assigns forever and the said Peter Young his heirs Executors and administrators doth hereby Covenant promise and agree that He the said Peter Young his heirs Executors and administrators shall and will at all times warrant and forever Defend the said Peter Young premises to the said William Jones his Heirs and assigns against all Lawful Claims and Demands whatsoever whereby the above mentioned premises might or may be effected contrary to the True Intent and meaning of these presents In Witness whereof the said Peter Young has hereunto set his hand and seal the Day and year first above written. signed sealed and Delivered In the Presence of Peter Young Daniel Teachea John S.
