Peter C. Mallard To Wm H. Kennady & Lewis T. Kennady

Deed of Gift 10 acres Jany 1840 Novr the 24th 1839

State of NC County of Duplin

Know all men by these presents that I do give & bequeath to William Henry and Lewis Thomas 
Kennedy a certain piece or parcil of land containing ten acres and a half lying & being in 
the County aforesaid lying on either side of Beaverdam branch part of a certain piece of 
Land willed by James Heath to his Brothers and Sisters conveyed from them to me the aforesaid 
piece of Land I do give convey confirm release remise to him there heres assigns administrators 
Executors forever and confirm fully freely absolutely unto the said William H. Kennedy and 
Lewis T. Kennedy to them there heirs and assigns forever the day and date above written

State of North Carolina Duplin County Court of please & Quarter Sessions January term 1840

The Execution of the within deed of gift is duly proved in open Court by the oath of Archabald
