Granted to Nicholas Bryan one hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the North side of
Island creek joining his own land.  Begining at a pine formerly made for Frederick Wells.
Thence Wells's old line No. 45 Wt. 70 poles to a pine.  Thence No. 10 Et. 120 poles to a
pine sapling.  Thence N. 85 Et. 116 poles to a pine by a pond.  Thence South 50 Et. 100
poles to a pine.  Thence South 96 pole to a stake.  Thence Bryans old line No. 62 Wt. 130
poles to the centre of four pines his old corner.  Thence his old line about South 80 Wt. 84
poles to a pine corner.  Thence four poles to the begining.
