Abraham Newton & Lois Newton of  Duplin Co. to James Newton & 
Joshua Newton (co. not given) for "the love good will & affection" 
300A in 2 tracts: (1) 100A formerly patented by Henry Skibbow, it 
being the same whereon the sd. Jacob Newton settled & improved, 
on Gum Branch & Pharises Creek; (2) 200A being part 
of a survey of 300A patented by Jacob Newton 1775. Lois Newton to have 
the enjoyment of the sd. land during her natural life & at her decease to 
remain unto sd. James Newton & Joshua Newton.
