Lois (X) Newton & Abraham Newton to John Little, both of Duplin 
Co. for 25 pds. 100A on the NS of Farises Creek, beg. at a pine 
on Gum Branch at the mouth of a small branch, it being part of 
350A patented by Jacob Newton in 1775. Wit: Joseph Williams, 
Aaron Williams. [Body of deed reads "Louis" Newton, with "his" 
mark of "X".]
