Court Record #1432 (Grant)

Granted to Michael Sullivan fifteen acres of land in Duplin County on the North side of 
Goshen Swamp on both sides of Rooty Branch beginning at a Pine on the west edge 
of the Branch at Hodom’s corner tree thence his line S 88 W 52 poles to a stake 
thence said Sullivan’s own line S 40 E. 84 poles to a stake thence south 75 E 70 
poles thence George Jernigan Hodam's line to the beginning. Dated this the 17th day 
of December in the 19th year of our independence and in the year of our Lord 1794.
