Mac Williams to Edy Williams Deed 13 April 1827

Mac Williams of Duplin County, NC on 13 Apr 1827 do lease unto my
Mother, Edy Williams of Duplin County a certain tract or parcel of
Land and plantation for the sum of .10 (ten cents) during her
Natural life, beginning at the line that divides said Mac Williams
And James Williams, opposite the lane that runs to and with the lane
To a row of palings on the left hand, then with them to the north
West corner of the garden, then to the garden gate, then with the
Walk to the south side of the garden, then to the southeast corner,
Thence with a line that runs between the peach and apple orchard,
Then with a fence to the outfence, then with the outfence to a
Cross fence below the old dunghill, then with said fence to Bayles
Branch, then up the said branch and with my line to the beginning.
I further claim all priviledges myself of getting timber on said
Lands, except timber or wood for the support of said land that I
Now lease my said mother Edy Williams. Further, said Edy Williams
Is not to settle any person on said land during the time mentioned,
But has the privilege of moving from it and then to return again
As she thinks proper and enjoy it.
