Lutson Stroud two hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin County 
on the South side of the No. East Marsh on both sides of the 
Reedy branch including Pelatin Outlaws improvement.  
Begining at a maple in the edge of the North East swamp at the 
mouth of the Juniper branch.  Thence runing along Rogers's line 
So. 35 Wt. 130 pole to a pine, thence along Lewis Herrings line 
No. 60 West 280 pole to a pine.  Thence joining Jacob Taylors 
line No. 40 Et. 180 pole to a pine his corner by the No. Et. 
marsh.  Thence down the marsh joining Johnstons line to 
the begining.

sides of Barfields road joining his own and Barfields lines.  
Begining at a red oak his own corner and runs thence So. 
65 Wt. 130 poles to a stake on Barfields line.  Thence with 
his line So. 55 Et. 180 poles to a white oak his corner by the 
Road.  Thence along his other line No. 66 pole to a stake.  
Thence No. 35 Wt. 66 poles to a pine Strouds own corner.  
Thence with his own line No. 75 Wt. 127 poles to the 
begining.

side of the No. East Marsh joining and between his own and 
Barfields line.  Begining at a red oak his own corner and runs 
along his own line No. 15 Et. 127 poles to a pine by the Branch 
his corner.  Thence with his other line So. 75 Et. 44 pole to a pine.  
Thence No. 15 Et. 38 pole to a pine Barfields corner.  Thence 
with Barfields line No. 50 Wt. 156 pole to a black gum in a branch.  
Thence up the branch So. 20 Wt. 22 pole to a black gum Barfields 
other corner.  Thence So. 50 Wt. 220 pole to a pine his other corner.  
Thence with his line So. 20 Et. 130 pole to a white oak saplin on his 
line.  Thence with his line (continued on page 132) So. 55 Et. 40 poles 
to a stake thence to the begining.

poles to a white oak his corner then with his other line No. 75 Wt. 
82 poles to a pine.  Thence No. 15 Et. 38 pole to a pine Jesse 
Barfields corner.  Thence with his line So. 33 Wt. 56 pole to a black 
jack thence to the begining.
