Lewis Thomas Six hundred acres of land in Duplin County between Island Creek & Maxwell 
swamp.  Begining at a pine by the Main Road William Allens corner and runs with his line 
So. 20 East 166 poles to a pine.  Thence along Ezekiel Allens line Wt. 320 poles to a pine.  
Thence North 280 pole to a pine by the open pond.  Thence East 420 poles to a pine.  
Thence South 80 poles to a pine.  Thence to and along William Allens line to the begining.

Dated November the 26th 1789

Lewis Thomas five hundred acres of land in Duplin County between Maxwell swamp and 
Island Creek in Laughline Loves pocoson.  Begining at a black gum and bay tree in the 
pocoson near Robert Dicksons corner and runs thence along his line Wt. 200 pole to a 
pine.  Thence his other line South 140 pole to a pine.  Thence his other line Wt. 180 
poles to a red oak.  Thence So. 102 pole to a pine on Garrisons line.  Thence his line 
Et. 34 pole to a pine his corner.  Thence South 45 East 60 pole to a stake.  Thence 
East 300 pole to a stake.  Thence to the begining.
