Lewis Barnes two hundred acres of land in Duplin County East Side the So. East River
on both sides the road and Burncoat Swamp. Begining at a stake in the Swamp Anthony
Joneses corner. Thence his line across the road So. 25 Et. 160 poles to a Black Jack
his corner. Thence his other line So. 65 Wt. 54 poles to a pine. Thence along Saml.
Jones line So. 25 Et. 80 poles to a pine. ThenceNo. 65 Et. 140. poles to a pine. Thence
crossing the road No. 25 Wt. 320 poles to a pine. Over Burncoat Swamp. Thence So.
65 along Adams's line 84 poles to a pine on the edge of Cowhole Branch. Thence down
said branch four poles to a pine of Geo. Smiths line thence his line So. 45 Wt. Down
Cowhole Branch to the Mouth and up Burncoat Swamp with Anthony Jones's line to the
begining.
