Lewis Barnes two hundred acres of land in Duplin County on the Heads of Burncoat
and Panther Branches. Begining at a stake in a Marshe of Burncoat the head of the
old Mill Branch. Saml. Jones's 2d. corner of his two hundred acre survey. Thence
his line So. 114 poles to a stake Jones Boyts corner thence his line Wt. 182 poles
to a pine Mumpfords line thence his line No. 26 poles to a stake his corner thence
his other line Et. 10 pole to a pine his corner thence his other line No. 88 poles to a
stake his corner. Thence the course Contd. 70 po. to a pine. Thence Maxwells line
No. 65 Et. 130 poles to a stake thence to the begining.
Dated the 10th day of November 1784
