Lewis Barnes one hundred and fifty six acres of land in Duplin County Et. of the 
North East. and North Side of Panther Swamp and west side of White Oak Swamp.  
Begining at a lobloly bay in White Oak Swamp thence to and with Lewis Smiths 
line No. 55 Wt. 127 poles to a pine thence his own line No. 65 Et. 266 poles to a 
Black Jack.  Thence to and with Maxwells line So. 25 Et. 76 poles to a stake on 
Thomas Sheltons line  thence his line So. 65 Wt. 72 poles to a red oak white oak 
and Black Jack.  Thence So. 20 Et. 40 poles to a gum in White Oak Swamp and 
down the same as it meanders to the begining.
