Granted to Joseph Bevan, Sr. one hundred and thirty acres of land in Duplin County on the
West side of the main creek of Rockfish.  Begining at a pine on his own line.  Thence No.
70 Wt. 110 poles to a pine.  Thence No. 23 Et. 116 poles to a pine.  Thence Et. 164 poles
to a stake on John Gaugs, Sr. line.  Thence as his line South 33 Et. 20 poles to a pine his
corner.  Thence the same course continued 16 poles to a Hickory on William Bevans line.  
Thence as his other line South 100 poles to a stake on Joseph Bevans line.  Thence Wt. along
his line 79 poles to a pine his corner.  Thence South along his other line to the begining.
