(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book E Page 94 John McGee To Ebenezer Garison Bill of Sale Know all men by these presents that I John McGee of the County of Duplin and State of North Carolina planter, Have for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds specie in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged Bargained sold and Delivered unto Ebenezer Garison of the County and Occupation aforesald one negroe woman Have named Juno about twenty two years of age which negroe slave I do by these presents warrant and defend she and her Increase to said Ebenezer Garrison his heirs and assigns free and clear from the Just claim of me my heirs Executors or administrators and Every other person or persons whatever. In witness whereof I do hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this twent seventh day of September 1790 Robert John McGee State of No. Carolina Duplin County October Term 1790 Then was the within Bill of Sale acknowledged in open Court and ordered to be Registered.
