Granted to John Lanier three hundred acres of land in Duplin County betwee Cypress Creek and
Muddy Creek.  Begining at a pine on Obadiah Edwards line on a path about 20 poles Et. of 
Hogpen branch.  Thence crossing said branch So. 20 Et. 200 poles to a pine.  Thence No. 70
Et. 240 poles to a stake near a large pine.  Thence No. 20 Wt. 200 poles to a pine.  Thence
to and with Shadrach McGees & Edwards line to the begining.
