John Housman To Nicholas Hunter Deed 25 April 1790

(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book E Page 44 John Housman To Nicholas Hunter Bill of Sale Know all men by these presents that I John Housman of the County and State aforesaid have Bargained and sold and Delivered unto Nicholas Hunter of the same place and County one negroe man slave named Will about twenty three years of age in consideration of the sum of one Hundred and fifty pounds to me in hand paid. I the said John Houseman do warrent and Defend the said negroe will to the said Nicholas Hunter his heirs and assigns forever against the Lawfull Claim or Claims of my Heirs or any other person whatsoever. Witness my hand and seal this twenty fifty of April AD 1790. William Wilkinson John Housman State of No. Carolina Duplin County July Term 1790 Then was the within Bill of Sale proved in open Court by the oath William Wilkinson and ordered to be registered.
