No. 1208
Granted to John Farrier one hundred and fifty acres of land in Duplin County on the Et.
side of the North East River South side of Muddy creek and north side of Jumping run a
branch of Staffords Swamp. Begining at a gum on the run of jumping run. Thence North 45
Et. 72 poles to a stake. Thence Nort 20 Wt. 160 poles to a white oak in the edge of a
pond. Then No. 75 Wt. 27 poles to a stake Henry Fountains corner. Thence the course
continued and Fountains line 53 to a stake. Thence So. 70 Wt. 124 poles to a pine John
Willimas's corner. Thence his line South 35 Et. 150 poles to a small branch. Thence
said branch to the mouth and up the meanders of Jumpoing to the first station.
