(Transcribed by Joan S Dunn) Deed Book B 11 Page 32 John Brown To John E. Hussey & Hampton Sullivan Kenansville Oct. 20th 1838 Recd. Of H. Sullivan & J. E. Hussey two hundred dollars in full for all my tin plats and tin ware that I may make and all my other property that I Know have or may have the condition of the above rect is such that the said H. Sullivan & J. E. Hussey has become my Security for the sum of two hundred dollars and where the said Security shold be releand then the above rect to be null and void other wise to remain in full foruce and virtue given under my hand and and seal day and date as above. Test Saml Stanford State of North Carolina Duplin County Court of pleas & Quarter Session April Term 1839 The execution of the within deed is duly proved in open Court by the oath of Saml.
