John Blunt to Charles King
Deed 3 acres
To all to whom these presents shall come greeting. Know ye that I John Bount of Duplin
County in the State of North Carolina for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Pounds
specie to me in hand paid by Charles King of the State and County aforesaid the Receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge myself to be therewith fully satisfied contented and paid
and of Every part and parcel thereof do exonerate aquit and Discharge the said Charles King
his heirs Executors and administrators forever have given granted bargained sold aliened
Enfeoffed conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do freely fully and absolutely give
grant bargain sell convey confirm assign and set over to the said Charles king his heirs
Executor Administrators and assigns forever a certain plantation Tract of parcel of Land
situate lying and being in the State and County aforesaid on the North side of a Branch
called white oak or Warrens Branch Begining at a pine near the main road a corner tree of
Nathaniel Kinnards land he bought of Saml. Slocumb thence along said Kinnard line So 15
East to white oak on Warrens branch the said Kings corner thence with his line No. 40 Wt
to a stake on said Road thence with the Road to the begining containing by Estimation three
acres be the same more or less To have and to Hold the above bargained premisses with the
appertainances thereto belonging or in any wise Appertaining to the said Charles King his
heirs Executors Administrators and assigns forever free and clear from all Incumbrances
whatsoever the Tax fee Excepteted and I the said John Blunt do binde and oblige my self
my heirs Executors and Administrators to Warrent and forever Defend the above said Bargained
premises to the said Charles King his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns forever
against the claim or claims of any person or persons whatsoever in witness where of I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the fifteenth day of may 1790
