John Goff To his Grand Children

Bill of Sale

	To all people to whom these presents shall come I John Goff Senior of the State of No. Carolina 
and County of Duplin send greeting.  Know ye that I the said John Goff for and in consideration of the 
natural love and affection which I have and bear unto my Beloved Grand Children James Goff Elizabeth Goff 
Lewis Goff Mary Goff all and Ann Goff the Children of William Goff of the said State and County aforesaid 
and for Diverse other good causes and considerations have given and granted and by these presents do give 
and grant unto the siad Children afore mentioned, FIve particular head of Cattle with their Increase Branded 
It To be Equally Divided amongst the said Children.  To have hold enjoy all the cattle aforesaid unto the 
said Children their heirs Executors administrators and assigns to the only proper use and behalf of the said 
Children forever and I the said John Goff all and singular the Cattle with the Increace to the said Children 
their Executors administrators and assigns against all persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever 
Defend by these presents In witness whereof I the said John Goff have hereunto set my hand and seal this 
Eighteenth day of July 1791
